i believe in capturing authentic moments
i'm really not about intense posing and directing for our time together.
i want this experience to flow and feel natural, as well as special and connective. i consider myself more of a guide than someone who is constantly directing. i want you to explore the area together, be silly together, perhaps embrace your routine. ultimately, i want your photos to FEEL like YOU.
I felt there was more emphasis on the in-between moments. The moments that aren’t necessarily intentional but so beautiful and raw. I feel like you captured a whole lot more personality and raw love, happiness and emotion within our own shoot where they evoke more of a feeling than a photograph. It highlighted our little quirks, laughs and you FEEL the love we have through the pictures. if I had to describe it I would say your photography style is “life WHILE it’s happening” like the best version of “enjoy the journey. The journey is the best part, the destination is a perk.” I just love love loved the intention of it all. So proud of you and your talent and hard work and why I keep coming to you for all my memory capsules!

Lexi has a contagious energy during her shoots that makes you forget all about the camera. I've done a few photo sessions and Alexi is by far the most fun, talented and exceptional photographer ever. She makes you feel so comfortable while taking your pictures and even got my other half to admit he liked being photographed by her. Her turn around time for booking and getting photos is REALLY quick and I love that she knows of all the best locations for what you’re thinking so you don’t need to rack your brain for a perfect location. Highly recommend her for all your photo needs!!!

Working with Alexi was an incredible experience all around! She is so wonderfully fun, welcoming, and had an amazing artistic vision. My now fiancé hired Alexi for a surprise engagement shoot in California. Alexi had immense skill, talent, and creative vision that STUNNED our family & friends with the quality of photography and editing. A few have even commented these were the best engagement shoot photos they’ve ever seen, which was the ultimate compliment!
However, perhaps the aspects we appreciated even more were the thoughtful and personal approaches Alexi took. She had my fiancé fill out a questionnaire to help get to know us better, and went the extra mile to suggest spots for the proposal and even sent my fiancé videos of the recommended spot. The day of, Alexi’s warm and glowing personality immediately made me feel so at ease, and I immediately felt comfortable having someone I’d never met before involved in such an intimate moment. We had the most amazing time shooting with Alexi! My husband and I hadn't had any professional pictures taken of us since our wedding (6+ years ago!) and she made the entire experience effortless, fun, and comfortable. My experience with Alexi was amazing! I scheduled a shoot with her in Big Sur for my anniversary which ended up being our engagement shoot (he proposed a few days before). I had a vision of us amongst the redwoods and the sea and she captured us perfectly. She scouted the area beforehand which was much appreciated and found the perrrrfect locations. She took the most beautiful shots that were the perfect combination of “posed” and also us just in our natural forms. Seriously. I cannot say enough tremendous and wonderful things about Salée. I met Alexi in Alaska. On a whim, we booked a photography session with her and immediately felt so comfortable with her. That silly little pressure in our heads and nerves? Gone. Wondering if she’d capture our authenticity and genuine happiness? CAPTURED. She captured every wonderful moment and we are UNBELIEVABLY grateful for the experience.
