La Fille Salée is French for "Salty Girl." These boutique shoots are an opportunity to invest in yourself and choose to celebrate who you are. No shoot is the same as another, as we all have different needs, and different things empower us. Thus, these shoots are entirely catered to you and your needs. While I do believe that empowerment shoots could greatly benefit every woman, these shoots tend to have more impact when women are actively seeking to improve their self perception. You can expect an entirely tailored experience from start to finish. Usually the shoot begins with some kind of connection to earth and self through breathing and guided meditation. Somewhere along the middle, a curated “activity” or two, leaving you feeling at home in your body. And of course, you end up with artwork, featuring yourself. Throughout the experience, you’ll be guided and encouraged to be vulnerable and challenge your limiting beliefs. Previous clients say that Alexi creates an environment where you feel “loved, supported, special, noticed, comfortable, and at ease.”

Not only is she a remarkable photographer, Alexi has a process in which she curates a safe environment for every photoshoot- she holds space for those involved to process and feel the emotions rising to the surface, and believe me, they will rise. She is an expert in coaxing pieces of you out from their hiding places, and illuminating them in a way that disputes the usual negative internal monologue. I genuinely cannot recommend Salée enough.

Alexi is truly incredible! Not only did she create a comfortable and empowering atmosphere, but she also made me feel like a close friend. I think Alexi could have a subscription service where you get to go have a photoshoot with her once a month and experience all the good vibes and positive self talk she instigates. My session with her was such a gift and I will always cherish the photos she created. I felt like I got to take all my walls down for a period of time and got beautiful photos to remember that feeling.

As a mom, I forget to take a moment to celebrate and care for myself. Doing an empowerment session was simply just that. Absolutely and utterly empowering! I recently had an empowerment shoot with Alexi. She is incredibly talented. She took the time before the session to get to know who I am, what I was feeling, and what I wanted out of the empowerment shoot. Getting to know details about me and my life made the shoot so much more meaningful and powerful for me. As a mom of little ones I rarely take time to do something solely for me. No. I debated with this for awhile, but similar to number 01, makeup and done-up hair isn't empowering to everyone. I want all my clients to show up exactly as they want, and not feel pressured to come any certain way. If getting your hair and makeup done for the shoot is something you're interested in, I'm happy to make suggestions that are local!

I realize that not all women are empowered by boudoir. I wanted to create an experience that focuses on you, as an individual, and takes into account what was empowering to you, specifically. So if you're wanting some sexy pics to spice up your life, let's do it! But it certainly doesn't need to look like that at all. When I say it's individually curated, I mean it.

The sky is the limit! I'm happy to travel wherever you are, or give you suggestions in coming to me! Just be aware that travel fees will be an add-on, if I'm required to travel more that 30 miles.

This is completely up to you! I'm happy to shoot WHEREVER. We can shoot in your home, a studio, on a beach, in the desert. Happy to discuss this with you to find the most ideal option for you. We'll consider your comfort in public, weather, prices of studios, etc. In some areas, I have a studio guide to give you some insight on that option!

All goodie bags include some fun, cozy items that you might not normally buy for yourself. There will be some items specific to you, because that's what this experience is all about! Also, there are options to upgrade your goodie bag to deluxe!

As mindfulness has played such an important role in my healing journey, I've chosen to incorporate bits of that into your shoots, as well. The activities could be anything from journaling about a specific prompt, to using your voice in a real way.

I have two options! I offer payment plans, which allow you more time to fulfill your payments in full, as well as a Pay What You Can Program! This is an application-based program, where you pay what you can. I truly believe that this service is one that all women should be able to have access to, so I'm doing what I can to enable that. what if i can't afford the price?

First of all, these shoots are intended to be an investment. They are supposed to make you cringe a little. It's the first part of the process. I want you to take an uncomfortable step in investing in yourself and communicating through action that you are worth that. Secondly, truly, I put my heart into these shoots. They're my baby! Along with all the normal costs associated with photography (website, online galleries, communication tools, equipment, etc) there's also a whole lot of time and energy associated. I spend hours planning and preparing these one-of-a-kind shoots. Every client that's booked has been SO glad they did. See the reviews above! These shoots change lives!
