natural over artificial.
I'm keen on finding the moments that most people might miss. The details, the laughter, the hands being held and smooched. It's more important for me to capture moments as they transpire naturally, rather than artificially creating moments for the sake of something being beautiful. I'm happy to guide and occasionally direct, but I'll take natural existence any day.
I had the most amazing experience with Alexi as my wedding photographer. Her energy is so refreshing. My biggest worry was that our photos would turn out looking “posed” but Alexi helped me and my husband feel so comfortable and confidant during our shoots. The photos came back looking natural, effortless, and captured our emotion perfectly. Alexi was timely, responsive, and very easy to work with. With all the stress that goes into planning a wedding I knew I didn’t have to stress at all about my photos!

Not only did she NEVER make me feel high maintenance (and she had a strong case for it!), she invested in getting to know John & I weeks ahead of time, so that she was prepared to fully help us feel comfortable. She surprised us with personalized packages, personal deliveries, and sweet messages as we hit so many bumps leading up to our wedding. Not only do I look at these photos with deep love and happiness (a first), not only do I feel like MYSELF fully in every photo, in a way I never have before, NOT ONLY did she capture the wedding party perfectly, and moments I didn't think anyone else saw...
